Postpartum Care

Whether you have additional support from friends or family, now that baby is home there are a lot of things we know you’re struggling to do. Let us take the load of and provide non-judgmental, informed support when you need it most.

Everyone Benefits from Postpartum Care.

No one thinks you aren’t doing your best, and at Chromatic Care, we know you are. We can come give you that extra break you may need.

Is baby up all night and you just need some sleep? We can help by staying up when baby is and bringing them to you when feeds are needed, yes even at night!

Are you struggling with breastfeeding and don’t know where to turn? Let us help you get in touch with lactation consultants, and share our tricks and tips.

Feel like you have baby under control, but your house is in shambles and you don’t remember the last time you ate? Let us take on some meal prep and housework, without judging you for how well (or not) you are coping.

But I have help already!

We love hearing our clients already have support with them! However sometimes, there’s some things that Grandma, or Mom or Uncle Sam can’t help you with (or don’t want to!). We can step in to again fill the gap in care you may see, while helping you settle into your newborn.

A lot of our clients may not have family close by, or they may not agree with what parenting ‘ideals’ their available support has. We come to you, on neutral ground, with all the information you could ever need to parent in the way YOU feel most comfortable. We will support you with any choices you are making, without our own opinions getting in the way.

We also realize many clients may feel as though a debt is owed to those who come and help them in these early stages. By hiring a doula, we are contracted and paid to help you without judgment and without you feeling as though you have an amorphous debt to repay.

Postpartum doulas work for you on an hourly basis, during the day or overnight. We will set a schedule together that supports your needs and allows you the best possible start for your baby. We are there to support in light housekeeping, newborn care, light meal prep, nursing and feeding support and as always, to help you access your community resources.

There when you need.
